Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
This policy describes how DroidXP (droidxp.com) handles information when you use our website and browser-based tools. We aim to be transparent about local processing, Google Analytics, Google AdSense, and cookies. This page is for general information and does not replace legal advice.
Quick summary
- Many tools run only in your browser; we do not receive your files or pasted text for those features.
- When enabled, Google Analytics 4 helps us see aggregate usage (for example, which pages are popular).
- When enabled, Google AdSense may show ads and use cookies or similar technologies under Google’s and advertisers’ policies.
- You can limit tracking via browser settings, Google’s ad controls, and optional browser extensions.
Information our tools process
Many DroidXP utilities are implemented so that processing happens on your device (for example, formatting JSON, analyzing an APK you choose, or saving notes in
localStorage). For those tools, content you enter is not sent to DroidXP servers as part of the tool logic.
A small number of tools may call third-party APIs directly from your browser (each tool page explains that in context). Those requests go to the provider you choose (for example, a geolocation API), not to us.
Google Analytics (GA4)
If a valid Google Analytics 4 measurement ID is configured in our site settings (/includes/config.js), we load Google’s gtag.js from
www.googletagmanager.com. That is Google’s standard way of sending page and event data to a GA4 property.
GA4 is typically used to understand aggregate traffic: page views, general geography, device/browser categories, and engagement metrics. How Google processes data is described in Google’s documentation and privacy materials.
You can review Google’s privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy and learn more about how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
You may be able to opt out of GA in your browser using tools or settings Google provides (for example, the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on) in addition to your browser’s cookie controls. Availability can vary by browser and product updates.
Google AdSense & advertising
We may serve display ads through Google AdSense or similar Google advertising products. AdSense publishers are required to follow Google’s program policies, including having a privacy policy that discloses advertising, cookies, and (where applicable) personalized ads.
Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Google explains advertising cookies and related technologies here: policies.google.com/technologies/ads.
You can manage ad personalization (where available) through Google Ads Settings and industry tools such as YourAdChoices.
For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, regulations often require consent before certain cookies or ad storage. We may use a consent banner, a certified CMP, or another approach consistent with Google’s requirements for serving personalized ads in those regions. If you do not see a banner yet, we may not have enabled ads in production or may be using non-personalized ads only— check this page periodically for updates.
Invalid activity: Clicking your own ads or encouraging invalid traffic violates AdSense rules and can result in account termination. We do not ask anyone to click ads to “support” the site.
Cookies & local storage
Besides analytics and advertising technologies, the site may use cookies or local storage for essential or convenience features (for example, remembering a theme preference or tool options on your device).
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings; some tools may reset their saved preferences when you do.
Security & retention
We host static pages and do not operate a user login system on DroidXP. Information processed by Google is retained according to Google’s settings and policies for the products you interact with (Analytics and/or Ads).
No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; use tools that handle sensitive data only in environments you trust.
Children
DroidXP is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children for our own purposes. Ad and analytics products may have their own rules about age-restricted content and child-directed treatment—see Google’s policies if you publish or monetize family-facing pages.
International visitors
We operate from the open web. If you access DroidXP from outside your home country, your data may be processed in the United States or other regions where Google and our hosting providers operate.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features, change vendors, or clarify practices. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.
