Currency Converter

Convert fiat amounts using ECB reference rates published through the free Frankfurter API. Your typed amount stays in the browser — DroidXP does not proxy the request; only your browser talks to the rate host. That is a small difference from fully offline tools like APK Analyzer and APK String Extractor, but the privacy goal is similar: we do not send your figures to DroidXP.

What this tool does

It multiplies your amount by the latest published ECB spot rate for the currency pair, using Frankfurter’s JSON API. That is ideal for travel estimates, homework, or quick mental checks — not for settlement with a bank.

Network note (vs APK tools)

APK Analyzer and APK String Extractor run without calling third-party APIs. Here, your browser must request rate data from api.frankfurter.app. Your conversion amount is not sent in that request — only the chosen base currency code appears in the URL.

Privacy

DroidXP does not receive your amount or rates. Frankfurter’s servers see standard HTTP access (including your IP) like any public API. Last-used currencies may be stored in localStorage on this site.

How to use this tool

  1. Step 1: Wait for the currency list to load, then choose from and to ISO codes.
  2. Step 2: Enter an amount; use Refresh rates after changing the base currency or if data looks stale.
  3. Step 3: Copy the formatted result if needed, or Swap to flip the pair and reload rates.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does DroidXP see my amount or store FX requests?

Your entered amount is processed in the browser. Exchange-rate JSON is fetched directly from frankfurter.app (not routed through DroidXP). DroidXP does not receive your conversion amounts.

Where do the exchange rates come from?

This page uses the Frankfurter API, which publishes European Central Bank (ECB) reference data for many fiat currency pairs — a common source for approximate retail conversions.

Is the rate my bank will use?

No guarantee. Banks, cards, and kiosks add spreads, fees, and timing differences. Treat the output as indicative, not a binding quote.

Why is the listed date sometimes not “today”?

ECB publishes on business days. Frankfurter returns the latest available daily rate — weekends or holidays may still show the prior session.

Can I convert cryptocurrency?

No — Frankfurter covers fiat ISO currencies only. Use a dedicated crypto pricing source for digital assets.

Does this work offline?

No. You need network access to download rates. Amount math runs locally after each successful fetch; there is no long-term rate cache across page reloads.

How is this different from the Unit Converter?

The Unit Converter uses fixed physical factors (metres, kilograms). Currency values change with markets — this tool applies reference FX rates instead.

Is this financial or tax advice?

No. The tool is for quick estimation. For investments, accounting, or compliance, consult licensed professionals and official rates.

What if the API fails or rate-limits?

You will see an error message. Wait and retry, or check Frankfurter’s status. Do not rely on this page for time-critical trades.

Same privacy idea as APK Analyzer?

Similar for your inputs: amounts stay in your tab. Unlike pure offline APK tools, your browser still contacts the Frankfurter host for rate data, which is normal for FX lookups.

Should I copy results into a contract?

Use official mid-market or contractually specified sources for legal agreements. This page is a helper, not an authoritative fixing rate.
